Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before completing your booking. By submitting your booking request and ticking the relevant checkboxes on our booking form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in full.


1. Booking & Confirmation

1.1 A booking is not confirmed until AM Retreat has received your completed booking form and your deposit or full payment in cleared funds.

1.2 Upon confirmation, you will receive a booking confirmation email to the address provided on your form. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this within 48 hours.

1.3 You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. By booking, you confirm this.

1.4 Each retreat is intentionally capped at 15–20 guests. Spaces are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after deposit receipt.


2. Deposit & Payment Policy

2.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on an AM Retreat. The deposit amount will be communicated at time of booking.

Your deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes cancellations due to personal reasons, illness, change of plans, or events outside your control.

2.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 12 weeks (84 days) before the retreat start date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled without refund of the deposit.

2.3 If your booking is made within 12 weeks of the retreat start date, the full amount is payable immediately at the time of booking.

2.4 All prices are listed per person (while rooms are either single or shared) as shown on the pricing page. Prices are in the currency displayed at checkout.

2.5 Payments can be made via the methods listed on the checkout page. AM Retreat reserves the right to update accepted payment methods at any time.


3. Cancellation Policy

By You (the Guest)

3.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@amretreat.com.

3.2 Cancellation charges apply as follows:

Notice given before retreat start date Charge
More than 8 weeks Deposit only (non-refundable)
4–8 weeks 50% of total booking value
Less than 4 weeks 100% of total booking value (no refund)

3.3 We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance that covers cancellation, as AM Retreat is unable to offer refunds outside of the above policy.

By AM Retreat

3.4 In the unlikely event that AM Retreat needs to cancel a retreat (e.g. due to force majeure, venue issues, or insufficient bookings), you will be offered:

  • A full transfer of your payment to another available retreat date, or
  • A full refund of all monies paid.

3.5 AM Retreat is not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (e.g. flights, accommodation, visa fees) in the event of a cancellation by us.


4. Transfers & Name Changes

4.1 You may transfer your booking to another person, provided written notice is given at least 4 weeks before the retreat start date and the new guest meets our health requirements (see Section 8).

4.2 A name-change administration fee may apply.

4.3 Transfers to a different retreat date are subject to availability and may incur a price difference charge.


5. Room Selection

5.1 Room types and availability are shown during the booking process. Your selected room will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.

5.2 Room images and descriptions are for guidance only. AM Retreat reserves the right to allocate alternative rooms of equivalent or higher standard if necessary, without prior notice.

5.3 Special room requests (e.g. accessibility, ground floor) should be noted in the "Additional Comments" field on the booking form and will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed.


6. Add-Ons

6.1 Optional add-ons (as listed on the booking form) may be purchased at the time of booking or, subject to availability, up to 4 weeks before the retreat start date.

6.2 Add-on prices are as displayed at the time of selection. Add-ons are non-refundable once purchased unless AM Retreat cancels the retreat.


7. What's Included

7.1 Unless otherwise stated on the specific retreat page, your booking includes:

  • Accommodation for the duration of the retreat
  • All scheduled training sessions and coaching
  • AM Retreat welcome uniform
  • Farewell dinner

7.2 The following are not included unless explicitly stated: flights, travel insurance, airport transfers, personal spending, additional food and drink outside of scheduled meals, and any optional add-ons not purchased.


8. Health, Fitness & Medical Requirements

8.1 AM Retreat programmes are physically demanding. By booking, you confirm that you are in good physical health and have no medical condition that would prevent you from participating safely in intensive fitness activities.

8.2 If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, you must disclose these in the "Additional Comments" field on your booking form and consult your doctor before attending.

8.3 AM Retreat reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest whose health condition is deemed a risk to themselves or others, with no obligation to refund.

8.4 You are responsible for bringing any required medication and informing the team of your needs upon arrival.


9. Liability Waiver

9.1 Participation in any AM Retreat activity is entirely at your own risk. AM Retreat, its staff, coaches, and partners accept no liability for:

  • Any personal injury, illness, or death arising from participation in retreat activities
  • Loss of, or damage to, personal property during the retreat
  • Any indirect or consequential losses

9.2 You acknowledge that fitness and physical training carries inherent risk and that AM Retreat coaches will provide proper instruction, but that the ultimate responsibility for your safety lies with you.

9.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by AM Retreat's proven negligence.


10. Photo & Video Release

10.1 AM Retreat may photograph and film activities during the retreat for use in marketing materials, social media, and promotional content.

10.2 By accepting the photo/video release on the booking form, you grant AM Retreat a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use images or videos in which you appear for these purposes.

10.3 If you do not wish to appear in any content, you must notify AM Retreat in writing at least 2 weeks before the retreat start date, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.


11. Code of Conduct

11.1 AM Retreat is built on a simple rule: work hard, be nice to people. All guests are expected to treat fellow guests, staff, coaches, and venue staff with respect at all times.

11.2 AM Retreat reserves the right to remove any guest from the retreat without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, threatening, or otherwise incompatible with the group experience.

11.3 Excessive alcohol consumption or use of illegal substances during the retreat is not permitted and may result in immediate removal.


12. Personal Information & Privacy

12.1 The personal information you provide on the booking form (name, email, phone, address, company/VAT details) is collected for the purpose of processing your booking, communicating with you, and complying with legal obligations.

12.2 Your data will not be sold to third parties. For full details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.


13. Changes to These Terms

13.1 AM Retreat reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your reservation.


14. Governing Law

14.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
